plus4chan achieves its first epic thread

As you may have noticed, I haven't been posting much, whether here or on plus4chan. It's because I lost a bit of trolling inspiration. For a while, the internet got a bit old, stale and boring to me.

But then this thread happened (and plus4chan's high point in its history (and its only high point)): http://plus4chan.org/boards/n/res/162338.html

Basically a dumb drunk Australian called Whitney Heuvel jumped over a bridge and LO AND BEHOLD died. Some clever person made that thread here on plus4chan and I see comments from people named "Carolyn", "Amy", "Taylor" and other normalfag names saying things like:

"[i]You guys are dickheads. This guy has a little sister and a family who are in mourning and you think its hilarious."

"Sorry about some of idiots here. I emailed the admin and asked him to delete the thread, so hopefully it will be gone soon" (LOL)

"[i]honestly, the people making such rude comments about this death are horrble people, and most likly have very low social skills."

My first thought was somebody is just copying and pasting those comments from elsewhere, like the comments section of YouTube.

As it turns out, if you google "Whitney Heuvel", plus4chan's thread is listed 4th or 5th. In other words, the real life friends and family of Whitney Heuvel are actually typing his name in google (falsely believing Whitney to be more important than he really is, hence the googling) and coming to this thread directly from google.

When they click on plus4chan's link, what do they get? The cold hard truth of reality.

The fact that it is actually possible that we, the non-friends and non-family of Whitney Heuvel, don't give a shit about his death, and in fact, may even joke about it!

My friends: These people I dub the "normalfags". It is they, who unwittingly, provide lulz for us.

Do you really have that much spare time? You just look like an idiot getting defensive over an issue that doesn't concern you. YES, that's right it DOESN'T concern you.

You talk about normalfags, but you seem to forget that addresses the majority of society. I think you need to take a good hard look at yourself. Yes, you'll have some people who think you're funny. But the cold hard facts are you more than likely have no friends. People who laugh online, are too spineless to interact NORMALLY within society. I come to this assumption because as a normalfag myself, I wouldn't be caught dead in public with such a cold hearted, defensive, pig headed nerd as yourself. So i challenge you. Achieve some real goals, you know the ones that lie beyond the internet. Don't go name bashing, believe it or not, you don't have that right.

What really has no logic throughout your little article, is why you've attacked his family. When you die, lets see how you like it when your family is verbally attacked. I know you're going to reply with some witty piece of shit. But frankly, it wont mean anything. It will be read a couple of times and in a year forgotten about.

Yes, your online little accomplishments will be forgotten about. Whitney on the other hand, his accomplishments and his life will never be forgotten.
