The Easter Sunday Crash in New Jersey

    CAUSING THE CRASH
    that resulted in the deaths of
    Lesley Carness & Jon Mustafa
    on April 8 2007 (Easter Sunday)
    in front of the Village Green Shopping Center
    Rt. 18 East Brunswick, New Jersey, USA

    What Happened: best as I could tell (I was at the site weeks afterwards, but I wasn't there at the time), two people apparently died after crashing into a tree (whose tilted stump was already part of a memorial that also involved a cross and various brics-a-bracs).

    Once again, if anyone knows the idiots that were involved in their crash, please come forward. Thank you.

F.Y.I. Route 18 is a six-lane highway with heavy commercial service, such as strip malls and shopping centers, some houses, and quite a few restaurants (making it, in some ways, like some typical commercial corridors in the American West). The tree apparently involved was between Rt 18 and the side of the shopping center (the front of the center is perpendicular to the highway).
