There arent too many fear campaigns today. It really pisses me off that now tv and life is one big fear campaign to get us to consume. Let me explain. Around the time when youre in the 6th grade, you take a test for advance placment math. The teacher tells you that if you fuck this up now, youll always be a fuk up, and you'll die poor and alone. This is where it starts. Then as you begin to develop some sort of culture of your own, TV pumps you up with fear. You watch the news, and you see floods,AIDS, Murder. Then cut to commercials, buy the Honda, the new accura. Get the Colgate if you have bad breath they wont want to talk to you, if you have pimples the girls wont fuck you. And its this giant scheme to get you affraid, because if youre affraid that the girls wont fuck you, you'll get your pimple cream, so they keep us afraid to consume. To my surprise, there is very little of this today, but who knows, maybe its being saved up for tommorow.

The new fad is infantalization of adults, instead of constant fear campaigns.
Essentially they found that people where starting to figure out their devious ploys. "Buy our product or there will be terrible side effeeeects!" It doesn't work so well on adults, as most adults have a more expansive mind and see through these marketing schemes.
So, how do we stop people from seeing through our schemes? We stop their minds from becoming expansive. Yep, marketing is now about trying to keep children as children while they grow, so that when they are adults they still have a child mentality. Children are the largest consumer market, because they are the easiest to sell a product to. So keeping adults in a perpetual state of adolescence is the new marketing fad.

Yeah, but the whole keeping children as children constantly backfires, with the HollyWood trying to be "mature" and "adult" it makes us teens try and grow up faster, because we have this false hope that things will get better, so we buy the Colgate, and get the Acura to our minds at ease, and when we hit 17 we're in "adult moode" where we have some illusion of being smart. Thats why theyre trying to appeil to the retarded part of america(75%) by adding shit to adds like lizards, or animated hookers with pink hair, that will save us from any trouble we happen to run into

you paranoid kooks. i wonder where you suddenly got this feeling of dread about the media. i hope for you it was a sudden realization rather than some internet documentary you saw. you people keep bitching about it rather than coming up with a solution for it.
