how's that? there are no 'business' taxes, only corporate taxes, and 'your own' business is not a corporation. a sole proprietorship is treated no differently than normal personal income (and if you wanna be a crafty SOB, you can actually lower your taxable income by investing in your business instead, 'business expenses', thus helping your business and reducing your taxes)
