You guys are talking about two entirely different peoples. North Koreans are ultranationalists, brainwashed by the government. South Koreans are called "Nida" because when they speak Japanese they tend to use the word "nida" a lot; kind of like how Germans tend to say, "Ja" a lot when they speak English.
A lot of Asian countries are racist. Japanese are even racist against white people(though to a lesser extent). And the Japanese aren't ALL OUT racist like some Americans can be; but it's just subtle enough(no such thing as protection against discrimination at the workplace on account of gender/race like in America).
And Japan is one of the most racist countries because it's one of the most conservative countries. I wouldn't feel too insulted by a people who's nation is run by an organized crime syndicate.
