We are not racists. At least we don't teach kids and students to hate or discriminate particular races or nationalities. We differentiate anti-Japanese forigners from others who aren't.
You would probably become very, very careful and skeptical about your foreign neighbors if they invite you to their homes to show you movies that blame your country and people in your country for everything in the past and even things ongoing. And if they ask you not only for apologies, but they also demand your estate and belonging. What if they happen to be always Chinese and S/N Koreans? What if you are even in somewhere else in the world and they still act the same way wherever you are?
If you still feel like YOU ARE discriminated by us, then that is probably not because of your race or nationality, that is because of who you are.

I don't hold any mallice towards the Japanese, I love visiting their country, and the people are really friendly, but they do have a tendency to discriminate against foreigners a little.(i.e. I wasn't allowed into some shops, and had to pay inflated prices for some items)But, in the end, most countries have little problems like that. I have yet to experience racism in China or N Korea though.

Japanese people have a tendency to put their race above others, in my experience (I'm Australian). Many people of other races do the same, but that doesn't make them outright 'racist' in strong, passionate terms. Often though, the Asian migrants in my educational experience have performed better than most of my white peers, so perhaps they have some license to do so. I would say that the Japanese are slightly racist, but nothing more from what I've seen
