The thirty million poorest whites in the US are considerably poorer on average than American blacks. Yet, mysteriously, though they are every bit as disenfranchised as American blacks--more so, in fact, as they tend to be found working hideously dangerous, low-paying jobs in coal mines (hello West Virginia) or chicken processing plants, or on the front lines in Iraq, rather than sitting around on welfare and getting free college scholarships just for showing up with the right color skin--and living in tiny little decaying rural towns where there hasn't been a murder since 1974. Embarassingly, they fail to riot or prey on visitors or one another as your model would seem to predict.
Why do you suppose that is? Let me guess. "Dat beez racisms."
