Glad you asked. I actually LIVE in SOUTH LOS ANGELES (formerly "South Central". Don't know why they changed the name, didn't change anything.) And I'm more than willing to supply proof- though I don't know exact how I'd prove that.
Second of all, it is because I am black and because I live in this area that I've been able to qualify that poverty breeds inner city violence and etc. The criminal impluse is something inherant in all human beings.
But let me tell you something, I stand out like a sore fucking thumb among these people- even the small minute instances of white minorities here. These kids aren't thinking about their future- if you believe otherwise- then you are either starkly bigoted or possess a vast amount of ignorance because you don't actually live near or have talked to any "poor people".
Thirdly: You automatically lose for calling me a Liberal. I believe strongly in everything anti-gun control, have frequently spoken against most ineffectual social programs and strongly wish a return to state rights- even if a state makes abortion illegal. (But especially if that state protects the woman's right to choose)
Poverty is a disease. As is bi-polar politics. The Asians that America gets are a minority of people who didn't fall victim to poverty. In other words: They are the Oprah Winfrey's, Condelezza's, Colon Powell's, Clarence Thomas's, Dr. Alan Lee Keyes' and whatever number of Black med students or lawyers you can find. (If you weren't too bigotted to look.)
They (black intellectuals and the like) are rare because the occurance of a HUMAN BEING overcoming the caste system of poverty is RARE. The Japanese, quite frankly don't count. That's like asking why some british white guy excels in the U.S. Out of the MILLIONS of impoverished Chinese that live as factory workers (making beads and shit for Maudi Gras)- how many actually make it out of their small poor village and over to America?
If you're going to use words like "nigs" and shit in the first place, you will probably have a hard time responding to anything I'm typing here. I really need reconsider why I come to 4chan in the first place.
