First of all, how many of you fucks talking shit about this country know Japanese? If you don't, then ALL your sources of information are coming from the point of view of gaijin. Have you ever even been here? Have you ever lived anywhere but the US? If your answers are no, then YOU NEED TO SHUT THE FUCK UP.
I don't give a damn what anyone says. The U.S. needs to get ALL of its fucking troops out of Japan. They steal, rape, kill, and generally cause havoc and annoy the hell out of everyone here, even other gaijin like me. Ya know those stories about the "horrible Japanese discrimination" involving those "Japanese only" bars? They're all next to military bases. Soldiers are primarily young asshole punks who think the U.S. is the greatest country in the world and don't give a shit about anywhere else. I want them the fuck out of this country, now.
Okinawa is forced to play a constant game of ping pong between the US government and the Japanese government, because the US government refuses to get it's troops out of Japan and the Japanese government refuses to let any more of them onto the mainland because of the increased crime rate that they bring. In other words, Okinawa is basically being used as a ghetto to dump all the asshole soldiers in. For people who live there, the soldiers are a constant presence and a constant burden. Read some Okinawan literature if you don't believe me.
It doesn't matter if the US is more powerful than Japan. It doesn't matter if Japan has pedos and yakuza and whale hunters and right wing assholes. That's Japan's business. Americans are such fucking JACKASSES to think that they have to be involved in EVERYTHING. What, do you people think that Korea is just gonna be like, "GROUND FORCES RUSH KEKEKEKEKE" and send all their d00dz across the ocean and start shooting people and burning down buildings? This is real life, not some RTS strategy game. If there's an attack, it will be quick and surprising, and the U.S. military won't be able to stop it from happening, no matter how powerfull it is. The "protection" of Japan is just an excuse for the US to get it's fat ugly nose involved into everything going on in the whole world.

You can't take things that a nation did in the past, under A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT government, and then turn them into some kind of "I told you so." The people who went to war were idiots, but THEY DO NOT CONSTITUTE JAPAN. They are dead now, and those who follow them are not in power nor in any more of a position to attain it than the KKK are to get into congress (oh wait, that's actually pretty likely considering the current administration).
