Don't say that the Americans and British forces have to leave Iraq right now because if they do Iraq is gonna fall again to the insurgents and Saddam will be broken out of jail and all hell will break lose. The terrorist just want the forces out of Iraq so that they can eaily take it over. Simple as that. If the western forces DID leave can one really say the insurgents will stop and let the DEMOCRATICALLY elected goverment of iraq go about its business (which it is already). I very much doubt so because the insurgents would want another old Afganistan-style goverment.
The war on Iraq and Afganistan was not a war against Islam. It might have been to topple corrupt goverments, to squelch terrorist hideouts or just to get oil but it was never on Islam.
The alternative is to NOT go and kill people who are just going about their daily normal lives. And don't say that their sacrifice was needed in the name of god because that is just a cheap justification and Islam itself doesn't explicitly say "go and kill everyone in the name of god".
