Organic/Synthetic

Point: I play live music solo, acoustic guitar. I want to incorporate synthetic beats and sound into my live show. I've looked at Native Instruments stuff, other drum machines, etc. . .

Question: What's a good way to go to get beats onstage to accompany my guitar?

Side note: Never knew there were text boards until just today. A wee newfag I must be. Yes I said newfag, yes I'm from /b/. But I can change. We can make this relationship work.

Mic a metronome.

Taking a sound produced on a laptop to the stage is no simpler than just plugging it into an amp.

if you want lots of other sounds/live fx/beats etc use something like abelton. if you only want some beats maybe just get a drum machine you can load samples into
