Ratings

Okay, this is geared towards iPodfags because I don't know if the Zune does it or what.

Do you give any of your songs "ratings"? If so, why? What purpose does it serve you?

I have never found any use/need to rate my music because I know what I like/don't like. Do you rate them so later you can make a "favorites" playlist? If so, why don't you just send them to your "on-the-go" playlist?

I rate my songs, but for specific reasons.

1 star - Song sucks, will delete the next time I get on a comp
3 star - Something wonky with title, artist, must fix
5 star - Just a quick way to put on top rated playlist.
