I really like The Pixies. I've been listening for the same CD for 3-4 years and now I want to find other bands that does the same kind of music as The Pixies.
Recommend me some good bands.

This isn't the same kind of music, but it is a damn great band. Try giving trivium a listen. I love trivium, but then again I like metal music. Glad I could be of help{if you like them}. Peace

idk what genre of music you prefer, but i say check these ppl out [in not particular order, other than the order i think of them]:
Minus the Bear
Luomo [aka Vladislav Delay, Uuisitalo]
Radiohead [or Thom Yorke's solo work]
Animal Collective
and maybe some Tim Hecker, Division Day, CAN, Maps and Atlases, or Joshua Redman Elastic Band
