I hate Guitar Hero

First off it's nothing like a real guitar. Secondly it's showing all these fucking emo noobs all these songs they're not pro enough to know about.

my friend was at a music shop the other day and a father and his kid(probly 8 or 9) walked in, he wanted a guitar cus he could play the game, and his dad said he sucked at that and he would never play the real thing

I'm with you man.  I can't play guitar but I do play the drums rather well.  Guitar hero is a joke and it is making real music even more obscure to kids.  Music education is already struggling enough in schools, now this video game won't help.

I played Rock band recently and it was fun for like an hour.  Being in a real band is so much better.  Who wants to play poorly made plastic drums?  If I wanted to do that, I would bang on my practice pad or get a real e-kit.

Nobody ever said Guitar Hero was going to replace real guitar. Calm the fuck down, guys. It's just a videogame. It allows regular joes to live out, to an extent, their rockstar fantasies. I mean who wouldn't like to be able to play guitar in front of a cheering audience? I'm seriously sick of the whole "learn to play a real guitar," argument. Guitars are expensive and hard to learn to play, whereas Guitar Hero isn't. You like first person shooters? Why don't you just go buy a real gun? Same deal.

I'd be hesitant to call any of the songs from any iteration of the Guitar Hero series (with the exception of some of the songs from the boston music scene) anything but mainstream. Boo hoo, you like a popular band that you don't want to share. If a band has more fans, more shit will be hoisted onto the fans to buy, meaning you get to see more of that band. Popularity for something that you enjoy is typically a good thing. Moron.

most of the songs in guitar hero suck and there's only what, 20, songs?  seeing as i have over 5,000 in my library, it's not gonna phase me.

Expensive as compared to your Paystation? At least a guitar can pay for itself over time. Also, it's not really much like shootan gaemz at all. Turns out that when you shoot people, you get in a lot of trouble. Guitars are pretty much legal these days.

If it speaks positively about it, it is referring to unfermented grape juice. Don't believe me about the word wine? Look in any English dictionary over 200 years old and you'll see the word wine used to mean any grape juice.

There are other words for different types of grape juice that are all translated as "wine" in the Bible.

Many have said grape juice was fermented to preserve it. There were many methods in Biblical times besides fermentation to preserve grape juice and even when it was fermented the alcohol content was much less than the wines of today. The high alcohol content in today's wines comes from added sugar and yeast. Also, fermentation isn't as natural as some would like to think, the indispensable conditions for vinous fermentation are exact proportions of sugar, yeast or gluten and water with air temperature between 50 and 75 degrees.

Also, I'm sick of hearing that "(alcoholic) wine consumption is a part of Christian and Jewish tradition and was done on a regular basis". Back then unless you lived by a vineyard, only the rich could afford "wine", and even then that "wine" could have been non-alcoholic.
