I'm a jazz noob. Recommend me some good music. I'm looking mostly for stuff with vibes, piano, bass, and crazy drummers, but its all good.

Some of my favorites are Miles Davis, Sonny Stitt, Eric Dolphy, Charles Mingus, and John Coltrane. I'd suggest starting there.

Michael Angelo Batio's work is not jazz.

Download John Coltrane's "A Love Supreme", it is the intro jazz album.

Esbjörn Svensson Trio - Tuesday Wonderland is the best jazz album in recent years imo. It's really really good.

If you don't have both kind of blue (miles davis) and night train (oscar peterson), get them as they are essential.
