Black Metal!

Black metal is a subgenre of heavy metal, that unlike death emtal isn't trying to be as brutal and aggressive as possible, but dark, epic and atmospheric.
A lot of the early bands are from Norway, good stuff like Gorgoroth, Burzum and Immortal.

The idea is that black metal usually talks about anti christian stuff. So christian metal in some way was like it they were mocking black metal.


Its like if someone used gregorian chant (usually related to religious music) and make a gregorian chant music about pedophily or about racism. They could, but because gregorian chant is so much used to religious music, it would sounds like if they were bashing religous guys with or something like that.
