Alright guys, I'm looking for some quality headphones that produce great sound for both games and mp3s and have no idea where to start/what to buy. I've googled quite a bit and still can't find any clear path to the right set of headphones, so I wanted to ask you guys for some recommendations.
P.S. I don't want to spend a fortune.
Thanks

Sony MDR-V150s. $20 headphones that last longer than the expensive ones, have sound good, and don't burn a hole in your wallet. I've used them for years. 20-20000Hz range and good bass response.
Bose is overpriced, and noise-cancelling headphones aren't worth it anyway. I can't speak for Sennheiser, though. Haven't seen any of their stuff being sold in stores.

£35 / $70 Sennheiser eH250 - bought a pair of these, and a couple years ago I had the old 250's I think, they're cheap and I was impressed by the sound.

I second Sennheiser. Been using the hd555s for a couple of years now, and I can't complain. Very comfortable, too.
There are better ones out by now I'd guess, tho.
