I was looking through a book about CBGB's the other day, and I ran across an image of Fishbone being complete lunatics onstage. Curious, I went and downloaded a few songs, and I have fallen completely in love with their sound. It's like punk, ska, funk and metal got stuffed in a blender; is there any other band with a sound at all similar? I demand moar.

I know it's very, very different to Fishbone, but one of their influences was the old Red Hot Chili Peppers stuff. Try downloading Backwoods, True Men Don't Kill Coyotes, Taste The Pain and pretty much any other songs from Freaky Styley and the Self Titled. Muchos better than the new stuff.
