So I was listening to some music from a lot of these old early 90's Amiga and DOS demos. Listening now to music from Crystal Dream 2, composed by Vogue and Lizardking.
Are there any published bands/musicians from the 80's/90's who influenced and sound like these demoscene composers? I can't say I've ever heard music outside of the demoscene that sounds like demoscene music... except maybe Art Of Noise, but only so far as to the cliches used in that era (orchestra hit, excessive use of sawtooth leads) and not really actually sounding like demoscene music.
