Jean Sibelius

Anybody into classical music should try listening to some of his works.  He wrote the Finnish national anthem "Finlandia," seven symphonies, a few popular suites, and one insanely beautiful violin concerto.

Of course he's dead.
And btw, "Finlandia" is not the national anthem of Finland ...though many people say it should be.
