Worst Band To Happen To Music EVER

Which band do you think deserves this award?

I'd say mine goes on 2 close-calls and one definite.

Close call 1: Taproot (Talentless hacks)
Close call 2: Creed (Do I even need to explain?)
DEFINITE WORST: My chemical romance. These goth-posers even tried to fucking cover David Bowie and Queens "Under Pressure". I wish I had gone to high school with these kids so I could've beat the shit out of them.

I disagree completely.  My Chemical Romance is actually quite decent compaired to all the crap that has been released lately.  I own their first, and now, their most recent CD.  Both are very good IMO.  Good, catchy, rock music.

Simple plan for the win......they are a bunch of whiny bitches who got an Emo makeover they area a packaged piece of shit with glitter....and a piece of shit with glitter is still a piece of shit.

Linkin park, I guess you can call this music. Every song is the same, some Japanese dude rapping with some white clown screaming over the top of him. Chester Copperpot needs to refine his skills so can be called a singer and not some buffoon. The best song that LP has ever done is on the Matrix Reloaded soundtrack. It's the best because there is NO singing on it. No rap, which sucks anyway, and no screaming to hurt the ears. Am glad MTV can promote this crap. But, when some joke like Carson Daly brings the world Smashmouth, you can't expect much.

even though emo bands are really shitty, they wouldn't clarify for the worst thing to ever happen to music, just because they haven't been around long enough.

You all do realize from a musician's *not someone who fiddles and makes little songs* point of view, all of these bands are shit in a technical standpoint, and anyone could create a calibur of this kind of music. Now that that's cleared up, from my opinion, all this shit sucks.
