Streetlight Manfiesto. Piece of shit band. Bunch of fucking teenagers basically say "omg da horns r so sweet, wha? you hate Streelight? WTF, do u listen to teh lyrics?". I'm tired of all this shit where teenagers think a band is awesome and can preach about how to live life and "the revolution". A band sucks major ass if people can only use "do you listen to the lyrics?" to justify why they "rock".
I think we need to include mainstream rap groups in this. When we talk about the worst thing to happen to music, I think that turning the music industry into a tool of exploitation of an entire race as well as an entire gender (if not both genders) while single handedly dooming an entire generation of black children to crime and unemployment. And rap music (along with hip-hop, in most but not all cases) was a poor form of musical expression in the first place, anyway.
