You're still young enough to not be ashamed of sponging off your parents. Video games are still fun and you're still ignorant to the plebness of TV, films and music. You haven't been completely desensitised to porn yet so rubbing one out is still great and fulfilling. Basically it's heaven on earth.
Being NEET from 23 to 27 is ok. You start to see how all the games you play and shows you watch are just a distraction. Possibly a hide away from the social problems you have. The porn you used to enjoy starts to become boring and ineffective. You find yourself looking for the more hardcore and shameful stuff (tranny porn, bbw, etc...) Your peers all have lives and houses and are making their own families leaving you behind. Shame begins to be felt for the first time. You start to get worried about were your life is leading.
NEET from 27 onwards. You feel the glares of disgust from people as you walk around tesco finding all the marked down food in your tattered sports clothes looking like some pathetic old chav. Porn sucks. Video games suck. Music sucks. TV and films suck. You now realise you were just living vicariously through the characters and not living your own life and making your own memories. Nothing brings you joy any more. Years of isolation has left you emotionally stunted and with no social skills to make friends. You're a teenager stuck in an adults body and everyone can tell. You have no work skills so there is no chance of getting a job. You wouldn't be able to keep one anyway because of said lack of social skills. You have no money so everything you own is old and falling apart. You realise just how short life is and that you have reached your peak so every year that passes you'll get weaker and everything will become harder. You have no money for old age and the lack of exercise and social interaction will surely mean being an old man with poor physical and mental health. You have no hope for the future.
