I'm sorry, but it's not our fault. We were linked to from /g/ and we got too much attention from them. Then they complained to /q/ when we spammed ourselves to death. And now we are where we are. If not for them, /prog/ would have just been spammed until the spammer lost interest, and no one would have taken notice.

This is true. /prog/ also attracts crazy and or infamous individuals that are mostly just interested in spamming their stuff. But we end up being too deranged for them and they always leave after a month or two.
