Australian creates a special character - Ћ - to replace English language's most common word "The"
Stick Ћ where the sun don't shine! I imagine it will be as successful and popular as sfbe.

I created a symbol very similar to that one a few years ago, however I have the bar lower down to suggest a lower case. That symbol can serve as the upper case. I have similar creations that merge ch and sh, with the c or s shrunken and overlapping the upper bar of the h.

OH I just reread the OP -- I use my character for the sound unvoiced th, not for the word "the". That's rather goofy. We don't need a symbol for every word. That's called Chinese.

I like Ћe idea of using Ћe new letter instead of "th". Adding more letters for each sound would simplify Ћe language. From now on, every post I make on /lounge/ Ћat includes a word with "th" will have Ћe "th" be replaced with "Ћ".
