so im at work, getting ready to close up shop and one of the other supervisors says to me the dreaded "pope we need to talk". "Uhh ok other supervisor, whats up?" "this is going to sound stupid, but apparently you said something the other day that made someone uncomfortable." "(massively begin to worry as ive been fired from a pretty good job before over false sexual harassment charges before) what happened?" ""well person a's father came in earlier today and told me that apparently the other night you were talking to them and person b(16m). person b kept referring to person a as persona instead so person A(18f) asked "so, like what, is your mother named persona or something" to which you replied "and is she cute?" and person b just said no shes not and laughed" do you remember this?" huh? yeah that was last week" "person A said that made her very uncomfortable, an apparently you also asked person a about her older sister(25) after talking to them at a table one night which also creeped her out. now ive talked to bigbosslady and asked her what to do about this situation and she said nothing, he didnt do anything wrong". but i have to bring this to your attention and her father wanted to talk to you as well."
SERIOUSLY? So asking about the marital status of someone my age makes me some kind of fucking creep? Is that really where we're at right now?
