I HATE WHAT MICROSOFT XBOX HAS BECOME

Amercian gamers seriously have bad taste. I was a xbox gamer from the very start of my gaming career (xbox with Halo as my first game), but even I saw past the marketing and was able to see very clearly that they don’t give a crap about hardware quality RROD, Microsoft really doesn’t care about their hardware, so why should we? I point out their flaws and tell them how to improve and their fanbase swarms people like me with negativity, all because they’re a bunch of Yes Men who can’t comprehend that Microsoft HAS done wrong and should improve.

I can only hope that they go software-only as soon as possible (but the only IP they have is Halo or Gears of War), they still seem to care about software (even though they haven’t introduced a good new IP since Halo in 2002).

A software-only Microsoft wouldn't have to put out any more embarrassingly bad hardware, their fans wouldn't have to stick with their lesser consoles just to get their Halo fix, their developers would be able to utilize the much-better power of the more advanced competing systems for better game experiences like PS3.

Hardware doesn't just mean visuals, it means better physics, frame-rates, resolutions, animations, more interactivity in larger environments with greater draw distances… hardware really is everything and Microsoft’s way behind the pack. They keep up this pretentious, hipster “hardware means nothing” nonsense and their fans eat it up. It just kills me to see what they've become.

If you have a career as a video game tester, why would you bite the hand that feeds you?

Video game testing is a very demanding career that requires a advanced degree in quality assurance.

The reason why you are there to assure quality is because your product doesn't have it.
