It's a goddamn money pit trap. I'm telling you right now. You're going to pay 300-350 for the console, 70 for a 1tb external harddrive if you buy it on black friday, 50 on a pro controller, 60 on all of the games during blackfriday sales, and to add insult to injury you're going to have to pay to expand the memory yourself.
I'm telling you if you wait for when they actually have good games, youll get a much better bundle deal possibly even with more expandable memory or a better harddrive default. THE HIDDEN COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SYSTEM ARE OUTRAGEOUS AND THE TIMING OF ITS RELEASE EXPLOITS YOUR WALLET.
I would like to point out that only around 4-5 of the new Wii U games are exclusives that haven't already been released on the much cheaper PS3/360. Please do spend double on games that I have already beaten while I take advantage of black friday sales and pick up more 10,15 and 30 dollar NEW games. btw the best looking version is the PC version. The Wii U will look the same as the 360/PS3.
It basically has 4 exclusive launch titles.
1. Nintendoland - lol
2. Fitness game - lol
3. ZombieU - developers already saying the controls are not that good
4. "New"Mario Bros Wii U - another mario game and its the only good launch title out of the 31 games
I'd also like to point out that theres a game called Sonic Allstars Racing. That doesn't even make sense. Why would sonic need a car? He's sonic. That's kind of what he does. He runs. Such a retarded little childs game.
So ask yourself. Do i really want to play any of these games? Do I really want to throw away 500 dollars after accessories and taxes are included to play a bunch of games that will already be much cheaper on the PS3/360? It's just insanity.
No core gamer in their right mind will waste that much money when you look at all the good games coming out next year, new real consoles coming out next year and big games like hitman v being released a few days before black friday. You're going to have plenty of games to play. You dont' need to waste money on this gimmick.
They're doubling down on the failed policies of the Wii. More gimmicks and less games. Vote with your wallet and get those damn executives fired so we can get some more focus on quality core titles. I have every nintendo system other than the Wii and WiiU. As much as i love their franchises, they need to fail now so we can get them back. If not through nintendo, we can get them made by the company that buys nintendo.

Maybe its because I spent the last 2 years paying off all of my outrageous student loans and car. But I know the value of a dollar and this is just like pissing money away at a company that doesn't give 2 shits about core gamers.

Bioshock Infinite, GTA V, Hitman V, Battle Royale, God of War Ascension, Crysis 3, Dead SPace 3, Tomb Raider, Last Guardian, The Last of Us, Gears of War, Metal Gear Rising. REAL GAMES. THEY ARE COMING. You will be broke if you waste money on a Wii U. You'll have a system with no games while all these awesome games come out. These games deserve to be played...
