Millions of kids watch them every day. When I heard the term for the first time (in the novel Less Than Zero, 15 years ago) I would never have believed that these footages would become a mainstream entertainment.
Kids seem to be quite proud to have the guts to watch real torture and murder. They say "oh no, I'm not shocked, I'm so used to watch shit like that on 4chan". I'm not even sure if that is still called "snuff movies", it is probably referred to as "funny junk" or something like that.
