Ask a cancer patient anything

So here I am, Day+2 post-stem-cell transplant. Chemotherapy is already done and over with. Now I am sitting here for the next 12 days with what feels like food poisoning. I have Hodgkin's Lymphoma. You might remember me posting on here a while back that I had been diagnosed as recurrent. Just when I was 6 months in through ITT, this hits me out of the blue. Oh well, just got to grin and bare it. Time to get back to downloading some porn while at the hospital here. There servers suck, but I know how to subvert their policies. I swear I could design a way better system using notepad. XD HAHAHAHA. Feel free to boo, baw, cheer, or ignore. All are welcome! :D
Ask me anything and I'll try to reply with what's going on here at the Cancer Center. Pretty cush, but there is no mental challenges. Thank God I brought a laptop to fiddle around with. Some days are entirely boring as hell.

My family does own a cat. We've owned many cats in the past. I don't particularly like cats enough to own one myself anymore. I would have to say that the people that have taken care of the cats I've had to live with never did a good enough job (letting them shit all over the place, stink up their places with feces and urine and vomit, always tearing shit up, and eating garbage when the owners couldn't afford food). It's turned me off of cat-ownership permanently.

Right now I'm having to deal with thrush (swollen tongue, sore throat and mouth, mucus). Miracle mouth wash can be used, but it's a silly old folk remedy. It contains mailox, benedryl, and lidocaine. I swished the jelly around in my mouth for a few minutes and swallowed. All it managed to do was get me a lil high, numb as hell and an upset stomach. It lasted all of about 2 hours when the burnt-tongue sensation (thrush) came back. Now I'm just sucking on ice-cubes till these two weeks are up.

Btw, is is notoriously annoying to try to download anything through the hospital servers, but it sure keeps me entertained to find out just how many policies I can break. I haven't found a way to enable p2p, but ddls seem to be working just fine. I'm shocked at what kinds of things I can still view on the interwebs, which is ironic, cause I must have a shock-fetish on account I keep coming back for more. 4chan has boards that I can still chat in which is nice, though I miss my /b/, /t/, /s/, /d/, and /h/. :'(

Tomorrow is Monday 20th. I still have about 10 days left in here. Just to let you know, the food sucks. You might expect that Shari's food is good, but it's not once you've had it for every meal the past week. I miss my Olive Garden, Red Lobster, McGrath's, and Claim Jumpers. :'d
I'll just keep trucking along till it's all over. :3
