I know that feel OP. Everything has become different. Everything is so pretentious and prejudiced that making friends as an adult is nearly impossible. It was infinitely easier as a kid.

Making friends after you finish uni becomes a lot more difficult - social groups and sports things are the best way to go. That, and going drinking with friends, which is difficult when you don't have friends in the first place.
