As textboard and imageboards become more and more popular, a lot more people are going to start posting without even assimilating the culture of whatever board or website they're in. And what then happens is that those that do ``lurk more'' end up looking at those shit threads and think, ``that is what I should be doing, how I should be acting'', and end up shitting the place even more. But, I guess, such things can't be helped really.

Very true. There were some earnest /prog/lodytes who would bump older threads in an attempt at countering the influx, but all it did was just shit up existing threads.
But, I guess, such things can't be helped really.
It would help greatly if world4ch was again an entirely separate site, but that's not likely to happen. The old saying, ``good fences make for good neighbors'' is as true as ever.

im not sure i agree, there were some very crappy periods of posting in the past, worse than this. 

the problem with the textboards has always been people come in here post something spam it to death and then leave

those of us that have been coming her for years dont do that much better, we rarely have decent threads, we have to take some blame for this.

sfbe is just the current stupid meme here it will disappear as they all do.

but the lack of quality posting will not.

cone of the few times we actually sit down and discuss someone in a manner slightly representing a bb is when we bitch about the board. that is telling.
