Why dont they legalise piracy?

Name: Anonymous 2012-01-05 20:54

Ok so companys and greedy software, movie and music developers will unfortunatly have to suffer and live on a skint 1st class citizens wage, aww poor them.
But seriasly we have all pirated some time in iur lives, unless your a ciushened posh ****, in which case you may aswell leave now because you wont understand me. But yh there are two main main reasins why people pirate, 1. Because you save huge amounts of money 2. Because it gives you a thrill/buzz/ makes you feel badass.
So if they legalised it, people would think ahh well its not that cool, or what if they really badly spammed you with adverts before the download to pay for it. And plus why target some poor person, who just wants the same privalige as a rich person when there is actual criminals out there.
Or instead of legalising it, why not push the prices down on the products, such as fl studio for instance, what is it about £100 to make it decent, why pay, when you get it free on pirate bay,, hah that rymes, ciuld be their new slogan, anyway what im saying is, if they knocked the price down to around £30 then people are more likely to think, oh screw it why take the risk, and its not as of they can loose profit now, i mean a phone company or something needs to chanrge a certain price to make more, a software doesnt, anyway do you agree? Plus although like the makers of pirate bay have been jailed, and even if they completly deleted the website, it wiuld only be a couple of weeks, maybe even days before a new thing came out
