Hello, anons. How was it you came to discover 4chan BBS? Most kids these days know nothing of it, nor have they heard of tinychan. Personally, I found out about BBS when I downloaded the 4chan plug-in for firefox a few years ago, and I have been popping back in every other day.

Most of the image boards used to have a direct link to the text boards in them.

Probably after getting bored and deciding to explore 4Chan years and years ago. I only really use these once in a really long time... long enough that I wouldn't recognize any of my posts.
I always pictured text boards as being spam, posts with no actual sense and JEWS JEWS JEWS JEWS
Moot hasn't even touched these for years apparently.

They still do. Just nobody reads anything other than actual posts (not even news/FAQ/rules). Pop into /anime/ or /games/ some time and see how many people are blown away by 4chan's ``secret boards''.

mods delete the occasional post here, the post is missing when you look at the post numbers. we take very little of 4chan's resources and the post go back to the early days so moot has no reason to remove this.
whenever the image boards fail we get a surge in posts, but 99% of lurkers have no idea textboards exist.
