You may have heard that the square of the hypotenuse equals the sum of the squares of its two other sides.  Students are being taught as if this was certain fact.  But it is only a theorem.  TEACH THE CONTROVERSY

Actually, the theorem states that a^2+b^2-2ab*cos(C)=c^2 . This is what you get when the government runs the schools. They force their statist policies on the little children.
