Oh wow, he gave some "moving speeches". Congratulations. Did he win a war, was a president, did he invent something? No. Why is he important? There are way more important black men throughout history than him.

Historians have exaggerated MLK's legacy into some romantic and legendary caricature of hope.

This. I'm sick and tired of these people who say "I'm for free speech but not hate speech". Hate speech has come to mean any communication that disparages a person or a group on the basis of some characteristic such as race, gender, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, or other characteristic.

What if something is true though? Differences do exist and it has become illegal to acknowledge them. It's career suicide for a professor or anthropologist to be racially aware.

It's your opinion if a published work "disparages" a group.
