nothing wrong with a pedophile

Many people will talk about how immoral it is to discriminate, but one group sees no civil justice: pedophiles.

Now we must first define terms.

Pedophile: an adult with sexual interest in prepubescent children.

This should not be confused with

Child molester: an adult who uses a child for sexual stimulation.

I am not advocating child molestation but rather the right to think freely.

I personally can enjoy violent games or the thought of ripping someone's head off who really just pisses me off. However, I do not see this as wrong because I am well within my ability to constrain myself.

Am I missing some key difference between my simulated violence fantasies and their simulated sexual fantasies?

Or am I equally detestable for my thoughts as well?

Furthermore, by law I am allowed to carry out simulated violence in multimedia.

Most democratic nations outlaw simulated child molestation in multimedia.

I am seriously missing the difference. Both are absolutely horrible but only one can be legally simulated. What accounts for the difference in allowance for simulation?
