Why are there still ugly people?

Are they too cowardly to kill their worthless selves? Are they mental deviants who enjoy provoking disgust in normal people?
I'm not talking about plain unattractive people who have a healthy symmetric face, I'm talking about the really ugly ones. Seriously, why does society still tolerate these individuals?

If you look at pictures of people a hundred years ago, those fuckers were even uglier. On average, the human race is getting more attractive, due to people going for better looking folk. Especially with the advent of TV, and ugly people having unrealistic expectations of themselves and what they deserve.
What you would class as ugly today, a few decades ago would probably have been the belle of alabama.
