Post-hipster (abbreviation: pohip) literally means 'after the hipster'. While the term hipster refers to something "related to the present or contemporary subculture", the hipsterism movement and the following reaction of posthipsterism are defined by a set of perspectives. The neologism is used in critical and reactionary subcultures to refer to a point of departure for lifestyle perspectives and aesthetic tastes in the early 21st century.
