For the past couple days he's had pneumonia so bad he's been struggling to breath when he coughs. Today he finally decided to go to the hospital, but he's too weak to even stand! 4 guys were struggling to carry him downstairs because of the lack of space but luckily I happened to be home so I carried him down the stairs and put him in the car.
Although we've always gotten along fine, we've never been friends so I didn't really care that he was sick; but there was something about carrying him, realizing just how sick he is and that it might be the last time I ever see him alive that has me feeling sad and worried. He's only 25 ffs and the only person I've ever seen who was as weak as him was my great aunt on her death bed; the poor guy can barely even move his arms. He is lucid, however.
He's gay and I'm guessing he has AIDS, but then I know next to nothing about this stuff. So is there a good possibility that it's not that serious?
