Why are they part of Asia? They look nothing like Chinese people etc.. They should be part of the middle east IMO. Their palaces are even similar in design.

The word Asia comes from the Greeks, who gave that name to the lands of the Persians.
Europe started dominating the world during the renaissance, and since renaissance people were huge romaboos/grecoboos, they decided to give the name Asia to entire landmass east of Europe/Africa.
Similarily, Africa was the ancient Greek or Roman name for a small region in North Africa (Libya iirc), but it ended up being used for the entire continent. And Europe got its name from a girl in Greek mythology who was raped by Zeus.
