Socialist Networking Sites

I've never understood the fascination with these sites, first it was Myspace now its the Facebook and Twitter. People spend hours on these sites typing shit and telling others what they are doing every second it all seems quite frivolous. I much prefer the quiet life free the constrains of such stupidity.

Anyone else here not have an account on one of those sites?
