I used to smoke, and since november my smoking increased severely due to the winter weather, so much that it often hurt my throat. To remedy this, I started eating toothpaste. Just a bit of toothpaste after waking up to get rid of that nasty taste of yesterdays cigarettes. Then I would often drink a few cups of coffee and smoke half a dozen cigarettes. Then I would brush my teeth and shower, and smoke another half a dozen cigarettes. Before leaving for work, I would eat another bit of toothpaste to freshen up. After work, I would immediately eat another bit of toothpaste, and then a few more times during the evening before eventually brushing my teeth.
Now, I quit smoking almost 5 weeks ago, but I still eat toothpaste about 10 times a day. Drinking coffee and especially water hurts because of the minty freshness the toothpaste leaves behind in my throat. Food tastes like toothpaste. And I've been getting random headaches lately. I don't know if the toothpaste causes them. I'd like to stop, but I can't. I ate a bit of toothpaste just before writing this post. I'm almost out of toothpaste again.
WHY CANT I STOP EATING TOOTHPASTE???
