Just because I have done cocaine doesn't mean that I do it on a regular basis or support it's illegal importation into the country. I have done it maybe two times? One time was cut to shit powder, and the other time was freebased cocaine (commonly referred to as "crack"). Speed is a bit of a shady drug, but the point is it can be made anywhere and doesn't require smuggling. Personally, although my dealer is a good friend of mine, I always feel guilty buying crystals and powder from a shady looking person. I wish I could get meth in the form of Desoxyn (pharmaceutical brand of methamphetamine), as I actually need stimulants to help me focus. I have ADD, and there really is no way to describe how ADD makes your brain work. People always say it is a bullshit disorder, but until you experience first hand what it is like to have your brain so cleared up in a positive way you would understand. I don't even take it for "fun". Meth doesn't do anything for me other then cause focus. Only in extremely high doses do I get euphoria and sociability. Not because of tolerance either, but because most people's "recreational" dose is equivalent to my "medical" dose.
It's completely asinine that the government would ban such a substance. Methamphetamine and Dextroamphetamine effect the speed at which my thoughts can be interpreted. How could they possibly ban the way I choose to think? After taking a small rail of about 10 MG I suddenly get a clear mind and I can focus on my tasks. I like to write music when I get in this state of mind, as I have never had ideas flow out so heavily before. It's like having 50 ideas flow through your brain at once at an extremely high speed, but instead of being confusing and garbled up messes, they are both more fluent and more comprehensible. The process can be anything, not just abstract "thoughts" but can also be ideas, pictures, music, conversations, etc. I have never been able to sit there and try to come up with a melody and also come up with a bassline and harmony simultaneously before until I was introduced to meth. The famous mathematician Paul Erdos once said after quitting dextroamphetamine, "I used to see a blank piece of paper and get filled with ideas. Now I just see a blank piece of paper". Which is exactly what it's like when I'm not on any stimulant. I can't get ideas or motivations in a sober state of mind.
Besides, scumbag mafia? Do you know what an actual cocaine plantation is like? Usually the coca plant is grown by farmers who get paid by small operations to grow the plant for them. If you were going to talk about a scumbag mafia, maybe a morphine or a heroin "gang" would be a better example, but not in this case. Furthermore, even if there was a scumbag mafia producing cocaine and importing it to America, they wouldn't be committing any crime if the stupid drug laws didn't exist. Can you imagine what it would be like if cocaine was legal? Would there even be any point of a mafia for a legal product? Wouldn't drug legalization work so much better? Our products wouldn't be cut down to crappy qualities, the mafias would be completely dead, and definitely cocaine would be a lot safer to use if regulated.
