You are mistaken, OP! British people invented America and Australia and New Zealand and they made Hong Kong, South Africa and India into liveable places while they were there(those places are shit-heaps now that the British don't rule over them. Coincidence? I think not!) They also kept those dirty Irish people away. British people are awesome.
