Radio

I've always been intrigued by the idea of AM DXing, and the other night I flipped all the way through the AM band on my shitty old Walkman and I was amazed at how many distant stations I could get clearly. So, I've been thinking about getting serious and buying a better radio. I looked at C Crane's website because I hear their ads on the radio all the time, and I've narrowed it down to the CCRadio2 and the CCRadioSW. The SW is slightly cheaper, I think it has a worse AM antenna but it can receive shortwave, and that seems interesting to me. Anyone have any experience with this kind of stuff?

Those of us on /lounge/ had tendancies for autistic/reclusive/eccentric behaviour, but hopefully we are young and still maturing and still have the potential to becoming fully functional social beings.

However, getting in to something like DXing, or anime, or some shit like that is really confirming that you don't wish to become a fully functional social being, but that you wish to remain an autistic virgin all your life.
