Radio

I've always been intrigued by the idea of AM DXing, and the other night I flipped all the way through the AM band on my shitty old Walkman and I was amazed at how many distant stations I could get clearly. So, I've been thinking about getting serious and buying a better radio. I looked at C Crane's website because I hear their ads on the radio all the time, and I've narrowed it down to the CCRadio2 and the CCRadioSW. The SW is slightly cheaper, I think it has a worse AM antenna but it can receive shortwave, and that seems interesting to me. Anyone have any experience with this kind of stuff?

We have a radio station where they repeat "tsk" all the time. It's convenient in these moments when someone says >>NIGGER<< and you don't feel like tsking him yourself.
