My grandpa gave me a bunch of old audio cassettes when I was younger, they were given to me so that I could use them to make mix tapes or whatever but instead of using them I'd left them in a box over the years.
Well, I was going through some boxes at my parents' house looking for Christmas decorations and came across the tapes again. Just out of sheer boredom we checked out some of them and came across a couple with some old radio recordings.
There's one particularly of interest - it has a series of tones and noise on it that we can't identify but the tape was labeled "215.18MHz Monitoring 2001 Feb. 18".
