Business ethics.

OK, business ethics is what you call the course that business students are now made to take because so many of them have no instictive moral sense, having been born without empathic capacity.  Naturally, class discussions devolve into tossing back and forth things like, "but if it isn't illegal, why shouldn't I go for it" versus "but if I'm unlikely to be caught, why should I care that it is illegal".

Globalization is the trend towards being able to enjoy a Coca Cola anywhere in the world for its refreshing brownness, while playing an import CD priced at $45 due to protectionist tariffs in a CD/DVD/R/RW drive priced at $20 due to international trade deals.  As you download your next song through file sharing, the same globalization forces beholden to mafia-allied music copyright holding companies will cause you to be sued for $250 thousand dollars no matter where on the planet you live.

Regardless of whatever it is as an object, the word itself has the power to make privileged youth bust some shit downtown, much like sports fans do when in drunken celebration of a team of wealthy men successfully beating a team of other wealthy men, while men in suits sign some shit behind chain link fencing.
