Women & children among those feared dead

No idea why the media needs to jump up and down with the headlines 'Women and children among those feared dead' Seriously who cares? They are all people. Never understood why females and children were extra important.

Well, some of us do have children with special needs. My autistic child needs extra attention, however that doesn't make me love him less. He was just born that way.
